A few days before the gameplay reveal of Assassin's Creed: Shadows - a new title of the Assassin's Creed franchise set during feudal Japan, I created a few design mockups of how I imagined the UI layout and art would look.
For this project, I primarily focused on the UI art as that is something I am still lacking in, though I am also improving each time. For backgrounds, characters, and item models I made use of Midjourney AI, but I created all UI art, icons, and elements.
Note:
While AI art tools can be very useful for prototyping and exploring initial ideas, I believe they should not be used for final production. The unique creativity and authenticity that human artists bring to the table are irreplaceable in the final stages of a project.
